Housing Received All Opinions About Unified Lease of Housing Contracts

A large number of specialized and interested citizens and permanent residents have interacted with the questionnaire about unified Ejar of housing contracts that the ministry of housing launched on July 30, 2016 and closed recently. Some of them have shared suggestions and positive notes about its items and performance.

    Mr. Muhammad Bin Saleh Albuti, an engineer and  supervisor of "Ejar" program, expressed his sincere thanks to all those who cooperated with the questionnaire . Also, he confirmed that the ministry will definitely use their various opinions to achieve a final form for unified Ejar of housing contracts which will guarantee the tenant, owner and real estate broker's rights, as well as organizing this important sector.

    In addition, he clarified that those participations are reflecting people's awareness and efforts with the ministry to reach fair, clear and transparent leasing sector. A specialized team has been set by ministry of justice and ministry of housing to study, analyse and codify these suggestions and notes according to the project goals. Then, they will perform the final form for the unified Ejar of housing contracts that all parties must to commit to.

   Mr. Albuti stated that the program is protecting the rights for both tenant and owner. " The ministry aims to save all parties rights. Therefore, it launched the questionnaire to know people's opinions, then to organize the housing Ejar market by developing a mechanism that motivates both government and private sector. "Ejar" program was performed to enhance the performance of real estate sector and raise its contributions in local outcomes which will match National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030".

    "Ejar" program is a developed electronic web offers perfect solutions for housing and commercial Ejar sector. It organizes the relation among (tenant, owner, real estate broker) by legalizing contracts and saving  parties' rights.

    The program aims to adopt the unified contract which consider as administrative document. The ministry of housing is working on policies and supervising and organizing systems for the housing and commercial Ejar sector and for well trained real estate offices. Also, it deals with situations such as; not paying the rent, low income and leaving the unit because of going to jail, sickness or death. It will minimize the Ejar cases in ministry of justice by finding legal system fixes the relation between different parties. Structuring the housing and commercial Ejar market, enhancing Ejar sector and raising its contribution in local outcomes will support the national economy.
