Ejar program documented over 1.3 million rental contracts in its electronic network during 2021, marking a record 26% increase in registered residential and commercial contracts compared to 2020.

In a press statement, Ejar announced that the total number of authenticated residential contracts in 2021 exceeded one million contracts, while commercial contracts reached 261,000 contracts within the network. The daily average of authenticated rental contracts in the Ejar network exceeded 3,500 contracts.

Throughout 2021, the program conducted 13 workshops to train and educate 28,000 accredited real estate brokers, with around 8,000 brokers joining the network during the same year. This effort supports the role of formal real estate brokerage establishments in achieving the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 housing programs, advancing the real estate rental sector, and educating beneficiaries about Ejar’s services and partnerships. The total number of strategic partnerships reached 16, including the latest collaboration with the National Water Company to enable the transfer of water meter accounts to the actual beneficiary of rental units with contracts authenticated through the Ejar network.

The Ejar program aims to meet the aspirations of rental parties, enhance the real estate rental sector, and contribute to creating a secure rental environment by increasing confidence in financial and contractual transactions, streamlining procedures, and expanding advanced electronic services. 

Through its Electronic Rental Services Network, Ejar offers flexible rental payment scheduling options (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual). Payments can be configured progressively, regressively, or through specific or flexible installment plans, with multiple payment channels. The platform also accommodates new property and unit types, including land, ATMs, power stations, communication towers, driver rooms, and parking spaces.

The upgraded Ejar network provides numerous electronic advantages, most notably facilitating the mechanism for registering new contracts through easy and flexible steps, authenticating contracts electronically through the Ejar network directly, adding the automatic renewal feature for commercial contracts, and balance recharging via the Mada service. It also enables beneficiaries to pay installments partially and recharge balance easily and quickly.
