Ejar Records 2 Million Electronic Contracts Until April 2021

Ejar program has recorded over two million electronic rental contracts in the Electronic Rental Services Network since the program’s launch in mid-February 2018 until the end of April 2021. These contracts include both residential and commercial agreements.
Ejar explained in a press statement that the utilization rate of the monthly payment feature for residential contracts reached 33%, while the rate for commercial rental contracts exceeded 16%. These figures, it noted, reflect the growing trust among all rental process parties (landlords, tenants, and real estate brokers) when dealing through the electronic Ejar network.
The program also highlighted that 80% of Saudis benefiting from Ejar services are utilizing the monthly payment feature. This demonstrates the program’s commitment to continuously developing its electronic network by offering numerous distinguished services to encourage greater engagement and faster interaction, especially through new services and features added to the platform in recent updates.
Ejar stated that authenticated rental contracts have witnessed increased demand in recent months. Contracts authenticated through the network play a crucial role in safeguarding the rights of all rental parties, organizing the real estate rental sector, and promoting investment. In addition, the platform is designed to meet the needs and preferences of beneficiaries—whether tenants, landlords, or real estate brokers—by offering easy and clear steps that allow seamless access to services anytime and anywhere. Recently, the program launched the upgraded version of the Ejar network, which includes direct contract authentication via the platform and new features such as using the Mada payment channel.
It is worth noting that the Ejar program aims to strengthen trust in the real estate rental sector, safeguard the rights of all parties involved, introduce standardized rental contracts tailored to users’ needs, enhance the sector’s performance, increase its contribution to the national economy, and reduce disputes through digital contract authentication.
