The Ejar program affiliated with the Ministry of Housing implemented a meeting titled "Ejar Program...  Diversity and Integration" in cooperation with Jeddah Chamber on Wednesday, 26 August 2020, via electronic meeting rooms.
The meeting, presented by Strategic Partnerships Manager in the program, Professor Najib Al-Fayez, included discussing several topics, such as clarifying the sector's status prior to the launch of Ejar, the regulatory decisions that enhanced the program's role, introducing the program, highlighting its most prominent features, its current development services, and its operational mechanism. The meeting also addressed the role the program plays across various real estate sectors, showcased its most significant achievements to date, and introduced opportunities for cooperation and partnerships the program offers, in addition to outlining the future prospects that Ejar aims to achieve in regulating the real estate rental sector.
The meeting, which aimed to highlight the diversity of the Ejar program, its coverage of multiple sectors, its integration with various government service entities, and its diverse partnerships with the private sector, was opened by Engineer Majed bin Anzan, Head of the Business Solutions Sector at the National Housing Company.
During the meeting, Al-Fayez emphasized that the Ejar program provides multiple investment opportunities in the real estate rental sector through the creation of development opportunities, raising transparency levels, providing accurate data from relevant entities, and offering suitable financing solutions, as well as insurance and guarantees. These efforts contribute to strengthening confidence in the sector. The meeting was attended by representatives of private sector establishments, real estate brokers, and representatives of partner entities from both government and private sectors.
It is worth noting that Ejar program has forged numerous partnerships with government entities such as the Ministries of Justice, Human Resources and Social Development, Municipal and Rural Affairs, Tourism, Commerce, Communications and Information Technology, as well as several authorities and organizations, including the General Authority for Zakat and Tax, the General Authority for Endowments, the Saudi Central Bank, the SADAD system, and Saudi Post. Other partnerships are currently under activation with the Ministries of Interior and Education, the National Water Company, and the Saudi Electricity Company. In addition, the program has established active partnerships with several private sector entities in various fields, including furniture sales, maintenance services, and real estate marketing platforms, which provide services and exclusive discounts to Ejar program beneficiaries.
