Supervision and oversight teams in the "Ejar" program of the Ministry of Housing continued their oversight tours of real estate brokerage establishments around the Kingdom. The tours varied between awareness inspection visits and 
responding to submitted reports.
The number of tours conducted by the teams during the past period exceeded 6,000 inspection tours across various regions of the Kingdom, including 2,249 inspection tours in Riyadh city. During these visits, many violations were detected, the most notable being the failure to register rental contracts through the Electronic Network for Rental Services, exceeding the legally set commission rate of 2.5%, and engaging in more than one activity.
These inspection tours come in response to received reports and as part of continuous oversight and awareness campaigns to ensure establishments are free from violations and to enforce compliance with laws and regulations.
 This is necessary to obtain accreditation in the "Ejar" program and to use the electronic network to document rental contracts, thereby safeguarding the rights of all parties involved in the rental process and fulfilling beneficiaries' needs for an organized and sustainable rental sector.
Campaigns continue following "Ejar" providing all registration and accreditation requirements in the electronic network. Real estate brokers can now register electronically via the "Ejar" website, complete the electronic training course, and obtain official accreditation on the network as an accredited real estate broker. Key requirements include holding a commercial register containing real estate rental activity and a national address for the real estate establishment.
It is noted that the "Ejar" program aims to qualify and empower all real estate establishments to use the Ejar electronic network and to raise awareness about regulations and laws through training and qualification programs. These include continuous workshops in all regions of the Kingdom, as well as providing support request services and field visits, which can be requested via the unified phone number or social networks. In addition, "User Guide" services are available on the Ejar electronic website, which also receives reports through multiple channels, including the unified phone, the "Real Estate Brokers" mobile application, and "Ejar" offices in Ministry of Housing branches, totaling 13 offices across the Kingdom.
