Within the workshops provided by the "Ejar" program across various regions of the Kingdom to introduce the program, a workshop on the "Ejar Electronic Network" was held on 26 Rajab 1439 AH, corresponding to 11 April 2018, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry headquarters in the Northern Borders region in Ar'ar city.

The workshop was attended by the Director of the Ministry of Housing Branch in the Northern Borders region, Engineer Abdullah bin Sa'afaq Al-Anzi, the Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Northern Borders, Mohammed Ghiad Al-Dahmashi, and the Real Estate Committee Chairman, Ali Houfan Al-Shamrani.

The workshop highlighted how to use the Electronic Network for Rental Services and the ways to benefit from real estate broker outputs, as well as their accreditation methods as certified brokers by the Ministry of Housing, represented by the "Ejar" program, through electronic registration on the "Ejar" website.  It also introduced the most important features of the program and what it offers to all rental process parties, including tenants, lessors, and real estate brokers. Additionally, the unified rental contract was introduced, which is treated as an executive instrument that reduces potential disputes or ensures their quick resolution by directly approaching the execution court. The workshop further covered the methods of adding contracts and documenting units in the network, along with other features offered by "Ejar" to guarantee the rights of tenants and lessors, as well as services provided by the network such as electronic payment and rent installment options. Advantages offered to real estate brokers were also introduced, including securing brokerage rights and protecting clients from non-regulatory costs.

Ejar had launched the "Real Estate Brokers" application, which allows both tenants and lessors to locate the nearest accredited real estate broker registered with Ejar. The application also enables users to report violations by real estate brokerage establishments, including cases such as failing to include the unified contract in the Ejar electronic network.

This workshop is part of ongoing efforts to introduce the Ejar network across various regions of the Kingdom. It was preceded by multiple workshops targeting the central, western, and eastern regions, as well as other areas, contributing to empowering real estate brokers to deliver better services and ensure the implementation of laws and regulations related to safeguarding the rights of all rental process parties.
