The Ministry of Housing, represented by the "Ejar" initiative, launched an electronic application designed to simplify the search process for real estate establishments registered in the Ejar network. Through this application, users can view updates on the real estate rental sector, as well as access regulations and laws related to this sector.
In the same context, the Ejar field team carried out visits to real estate brokerage establishments in Riyadh city as a first phase. The visits aimed to introduce these establishments to the Ejar network, provide assistance, and train them on how to operate within the system.
General Supervisor of Real Estate Rental Sector Regulation, Engineer Mohammed Al-Bati, explained that the electronic application is designed to help beneficiaries locate nearby real estate brokerage establishments, interact with accredited real estate brokers registered in "Ejar," access contact information for these establishments, and understand the relevant regulations and laws governing the real estate rental sector.
He also noted that the application introduces the laws and regulations governing the rental process, as well as the rights and duties of all parties involved, including lessors, tenants, and real estate brokers. Al-Bati emphasized that the goal of the application is to make these services accessible to all beneficiaries of real estate brokerage establishments.
Al-Bati confirmed that the field visits conducted by Ejar teams aim to introduce real estate brokerage establishments to the Ejar network, assist them in joining the network, and accredit their establishments. During these visits, employees of real estate brokerage establishments are introduced to the necessary procedures for operating within the Ejar network and are trained on adding rental units, preparing real estate brokerage agreements, and documenting the unified rental contract. Real estate brokerage establishments can also coordinate with the Ejar communication team at 920005226 to benefit from on-site training services and gain a full understanding of the network’s services and how to use them.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Housing has recently launched the unified rental contract format in preparation for its implementation. This initiative aims to facilitate rental transaction procedures, provide proof of agreements, and enhance trust between all parties, while registering mutual commitments between lessors, tenants, and real estate brokers in the real estate rental sector. The registration and documentation of these agreements between rental process parties will now be carried out automatically through the Ejar network.
