"Rental Index": Decrease in Average "Riyadh Apartments" Rents in July

The Rental Index on the Sakani platform recorded a decrease in average rental values for residential apartments ranging between 1% to 52% in 32 neighborhoods in Riyadh, among 43 neighborhoods that recorded 200 or more residential rental transactions. The data covered over 18,000 rental transactions on residential apartments in July compared to June.
The remaining 11 neighborhoods recorded stability in average rental values for residential apartments to an increase reaching 15%, including over 4,800 transactions during July. Dhahrat Laban neighborhood, which ranked first in apartment transaction volume, recorded an increase in average rental values by 4%, while Tuwaiq neighborhood, which ranked second, recorded a decrease of 12%, and Al-Aziziyah neighborhood, which ranked third, recorded a decrease of 14%.
It is worth noting that the Rental Index aims to achieve transparency and encourage investment in the Kingdom's rental real estate sector by establishing specific rental indicators for cities, neighborhoods, and different property types in both residential and commercial categories. The service enables beneficiaries to identify average rental prices, including types of residential units such as apartments, villas, and floors, as well as commercial units such as shops, showrooms, and offices, and provides average square meter prices for commercial properties across more than 16 cities covering all regions of the Kingdom.
