Commercial sector rental contracts recorded an increase in the number of authenticated contracts in the Electronic Rental Services Network, exceeding 600,000 contracts until the end of May 2022.

Ejar explained in its press statement today that it authenticated over 60,000 commercial rental contracts during (April and May), at a rate exceeding 30,000 commercial rental contracts per month, indicating that these numbers came as a result of the services and advantages provided by the program to network beneficiaries, and the commercial contract's accommodation of sector requirements, where commercial contracts represent over 17% of total authenticated rental contracts of both residential and commercial types.

The Electronic Rental Services Network provides many features for rental services in the commercial sector, foremost among them digital integration with entities in both government and private sectors, such as the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Investment, and connection with the Balady platform. Coordination is currently underway for connection with several other relevant entities, and work on providing a group of electronic solutions that contribute to sector development and enhancing confidence in it.

The commercial rental contract is characterized by its flexibility in several aspects, where contracting parties can use the unified commercial contract format or non-unified commercial contract and authenticate them in the network, in addition to its flexibility in distributing obligations between both contract parties and exchanging them, using the conditional contract feature, granting greater authorities to tenants, registering commercial rental contracts retroactively, calculating added value, registering service fees for water, electricity, gas, and others, payment flexibility and diverse payment mechanisms, and variety of properties covered by the commercial contract (commercial centers, shops, kiosks, warehouses) and others.

The Ejar program confirmed that interaction with the commercial rental contract achieves the aspirations of sector users and their desire to benefit from the advantages provided by the commercial contract, including monthly payment, scheduling payments and their flexibility, the possibility of registering it as a conditional contract, modifying commercial activity after concluding the contract, subleasing, payment grace service, and other authorities and advantages provided by the electronic rental contract.
