"Ejar”: Ejar: Registration of Over 3 Million Real Estate Units Until August 2021

Ejar program recorded an increase in the number of real estate units registered in the Electronic Rental Services Network, with registered units exceeding 3 million units diversified between residential and commercial properties, from the program's inception until August 2021. Meanwhile, the number of registered real estate brokers in the program has surpassed 20,000 brokers.
Ejar explained that the network continues to develop by accommodating multiple types of real estate units, noting that registered units exceeded 3 million since the program's launch in mid-February 2021 up to August 2021, during which the program recorded a daily average of 3,500 contracts between residential and commercial. This demonstrates the network's significant contribution to preserving the rights of all parties involved in rental processes, organizing the real estate rental sector, and encouraging investment in it. It also reflects the network’s success in meeting the needs and expectations of real estate sector beneficiaries by allowing them to access services anytime and anywhere through clear and simple steps.
The program confirmed its continued development of the Electronic Rental Services Network, implementing various improvements and adding valuable services such as: the ability to approve contract authentication directly through the network, enhanced real estate unit registration processes, expanded property types, easier financial operations, and advanced rental bill payment mechanisms, including installment scheduling. It also introduced balance recharging services for property owners and real estate brokers, contributing significantly to the growth of authenticated rental contracts.
Ejar highlighted that more than 20,000 real estate brokers are now registered in the program. The network offers numerous tools and features that have helped improve broker operations, including simplified rental property management and monitoring via a broker information dashboard displaying contract statuses and available units, as well as the ability to appoint a single manager for multiple brokerage establishments, provided the manager is not the owner.
It is noteworthy that the Ejar program aims to strengthen trust in the real estate rental sector, protect the rights of all stakeholders—including landlords, tenants, and real estate brokers—create standardized rental contracts tailored to beneficiaries’ needs, improve sector performance, and increase its contribution to the national economy, while also reducing disputes through contract authentication.
