The Ejar program, affiliated with the Ministry of Housing, announced the activation of a feature that allows users in the real estate rental sector to approve and review rental contract authentication through the electronic "Sakani" application.

Landlords and tenants in rental contracts can now view all contract details before approval and complete the authentication process through the "Sakani" application. This feature serves as an additional option to facilitate contracting procedures in the Ejar network for Saudi citizens who use the "Sakani" application. It complements the existing option of using the "Absher" platform to approve contract authentication. Furthermore, this service enables both parties to review and view their contracts even after the authentication approval process is completed.

Ejar program confirmed that the launch of this feature is part of its ongoing efforts to streamline and simplify contracting procedures between landlords and tenants. This initiative reflects the program’s commitment to continuously developing its network to ensure a user experience that is seamless, efficient, and clear. It also aligns with the program's goal to unify all channels used by Ministry of Housing beneficiaries. 

"Sakani" electronic application has seen significant interaction among citizens. According to recent statistics, it recorded nearly two million downloads by citizens during its initial launch months and was ranked as one of the most downloaded applications in Saudi Arabia at various times. This demonstrates that adding the contract authentication feature significantly benefits beneficiaries.

"Sakani" application has also witnessed a doubling in the number of users benefiting from its wide range of services and solutions, achieving record numbers in parallel with precautionary health measures announced by relevant authorities to curb the spread of COVID-19. The application now records an average of more than two thousand daily transactions, offering users numerous features, most notably the ability to inspect and select residential lands and residential units—including apartments, villas, and townhouses—with prices ranging between 250,000 and 750,000 riyals across all regions of the Kingdom, electronic registration and immediate knowledge of eligibility status for families who meet housing support criteria, immediate and direct electronic selection of residential units without waiting periods, the ability to review housing options and projects with comprehensive details regarding their locations, layouts, and prices, access to financing offers for housing projects and the ability to choose the most suitable financing entity, the option to book and select free lands and sign contracts electronically, and access to the "Real Estate Advisor" service. These services make the "Sakani" application a comprehensive tool for citizens seeking housing solutions and support through the Ministry of Housing, serving as a unified platform for many critical services.
