The "Ejar" program of the Ministry of Housing announced that the number of real estate brokers registered in the Ejar electronic network has exceeded 9,000 accredited real estate brokers across all regions of the Kingdom, indicating strong interest from real estate brokers in registering and obtaining accreditation since the network’s launch earlier this year.
Mazen bin Mohammed Al-Dawood, General Supervisor of Real Estate Regulation at the Ministry of Housing, stated that through the "Ejar" program and the Electronic Network for Rental Services, the Ministry has launched and developed numerous 
services aimed at simplifying and facilitating the work of real estate brokers, enhancing their operational efficiency, improving the quality of services delivered to their clients, and increasing their investment returns. He emphasized that brokers registered in the electronic network can take advantage of various features, including the ability to document rental contracts and perform tasks at any time and from any location. Brokers can monitor rental operation performance indicators, list real estate units on the network, view both vacant and occupied units, sign brokerage agreements electronically, register rental contracts, and send them to contract parties for electronic documentation via the Absher platform. Additionally, they can review, save, and track contracts electronically, receive automated alerts about contract start and upcoming expiration dates, and issue electronic receipts and payment vouchers after rent is received.
Al-Dawood highlighted the launch of the "Real Estate Brokers" application earlier this year, which enables brokers to register and update their information in the network, assisting in marketing their establishments through the app. Tenants 
and landlords can also use the app to identify accredited real estate brokers and locate the nearest one. Unregistered brokers are encouraged to join the network through the official Ejar website 
https://ejar.sa, where they can benefit from network services and automatically obtain an accredited broker certificate upon completing the electronic training course.
He also pointed out that the Ejar network provides a service enabling brokerage establishments to appoint employees and delegate authorities, allowing them to carry out tasks on behalf of the business. Establishment managers can monitor employees’ work remotely. 
Among the network’s many advantages is that data for all parties involved in a rental transaction only needs to be entered once, after which it is automatically retrieved following identity verification. Companions can also be added to contracts 
after documentation and registration in the network.
Furthermore, the network offers several financial management features. Brokers and landlords can collect payments electronically via the Sadad system, and can coordinate with tenants to schedule payments 
monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. More than 20% of new contracts have already utilized the monthly payment option, reflecting strong demand for this vital service among rental process participants.
Al-Dawood added that the Ejar network has been electronically linked with the Absher platform to verify the accuracy of information entered by brokers, ensuring data integrity and helping to combat identity fraud. 
He stressed the importance of registering all rental contracts in the Electronic Network for Rental Services, describing it as a crucial step toward organizing the real estate rental sector and increasing trust in its operations.
