"Ejar" program launched a workshop to introduce the Ejar electronic network in Madinah, on Thursday morning, 3 Sha’ban 1439 AH, corresponding to 19 April 2018, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madinah.

The workshop was attended by the Director of the Ministry of Housing Branch in the Madinah region, Engineer Abdulaziz Faisal Mohammed Abed, and Assistant Secretary-General for Business Development at the Madinah Chamber, Naif Eid Al-Hazmi.

This workshop is part of a series of workshops covering all regions of the Kingdom, targeting all those interested in learning about regulatory changes in the real estate rental sector, especially real estate brokers responsible for conducting the documentation of rental processes through the Ejar electronic network.

The workshop highlighted how to use the electronic network and the process of accrediting real estate brokers with Ejar through electronic registration via the Ejar website, as well as the methods for documenting the unified rental contract on the network. It also introduced the program’s benefits, which deliver positive returns for all parties involved in the rental process, including safeguarding rights and resolving potential disputes by going directly to the Execution Court, along with electronic payment options and other features. Participants also received access to network user outputs for registration and documentation operations by real estate brokers, who are tasked with receiving requests from lessors to document residential units and overseeing the electronic contracting process between lessors and tenants. This process is approved by both lessor and tenant via the "Absher" platform, where they can review and electronically sign the contract.

Ejar had also launched the "Real Estate Brokers" mobile application, which allows both tenants and lessors to locate the address of the nearest accredited real estate broker registered with Ejar. The application also provides a reporting service for violations committed by real estate brokerage establishments, which include a wide range of infractions such as failing to include the unified contract in the Ejar electronic network or employing a non-Saudi individual in the real estate brokerage profession.
